The 3rd Lair would like to thank all the competitors that participated in our 4th annual Summer Series!!! - The site will be updated soon with final standings and Overpass results - please stay tuned...
2010 SUMMER SERIES UPDATE -
The schedule is all set - we are going to kick off Summer Series at the Champlin Skatepark on Saturday, June 12th at 11:00am. Registration starts at 10:00am.
We have 16 stops scheduled for this years series. The point system is the same as last year. Winners of each event in all 3 divisions will win a 'Golden Ticket' to the Midwest Melee - All Ages Street Contest at the 3rd Lair Golden Valley on August 20th - 22nd, 2010.
Please check-out the REGISTRATION PAGE - we have 2 pre-register options going for this season. On site sign-up is ALWAYS available at each contest.

If you'd like your local skatepark to be a stop this upcoming summer - then there are 2 easy things that you need to do:
#1. - email: mark@3rdlair.com and tell me what skatepark you think would be a good stop for the Summer Series
#2. - call / write a letter / or email the city's park & rec department of the skatepark you'd like to see on our schedule and tell them to say "YES" to hosting a 3rd Lair 'Summer Series'!
The 3rd Lair is actively seeking sponsors - both local and national to help support and offset the costs of running the Summer Series. If you'd like to help us out - please call Mark Muller at 763 797 7401.
We will be making some positive changes to the the Summer Series this upcoming year - things we hope that will help us improve the overall experience for both skateboarder and parent - such as:
- Online Sign-Up (pre-registration)
- Membership (this gets you into every event of the season)
- Newsletters (keeps you updated on scores, points, & more!
We are looking for volunteers (parents) that would like to help us out with all aspects of the Summer Series - such as: on site - with registrations, working the merchandise booth, off site - seeking media coverage, seeking sponsorships, creating awareness of the Summer Series, and more - email: mark@3rdlair.com if you are interested!
